The Senior Minister, Mr. Yaw Osafo-Maafo, has encouraged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to intensify their house-to-house campaigns for the party to retain political power in the December 7, 2020, general election.
He said since the COVID-19 pandemic could not allow political parties to hold massive political rallies, the only alternative ways for the members to move from house to house to educate the electorate on the need to retain the NPP in power in the upcoming general election.
Mr Osafo-Maafo, who is a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Akyem Oda, made the call at the inauguration of a 27-member election campaign committee for the Oda Constituency of the NPP in Oda last Thursday.
He stressed that the longer the NPP stayed in power, the more opportunities the various communities could benefit from the government in terms of the provision of quality development projects.
