Only NPP Will Be Majority; Bagbin Dare Not Declare NDC As Majority – NPP MP Warns

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) side in Parliament will fiercely resist any move by Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin to make the National Democratic Congress (NDC) side Majority in the house.

According to him it is only the government in power that can be declared majority therefore the NDC stands no chance of forming the majority side.

He noted that although both the NPP and NDC have 137 each in Parliament, the decision by the independent Fomena MP will give the NPP an edge over the NDC, making it 138 for NPP and 137 for NDC.
