Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady has criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the prevailing economic crisis that has made life difficult and intolerable for many Ghanaians.

In the general elections in 2024, she predicted that the NPP might not even receive 10% of the vote.

If you don’t work to maintain your reputation during the next two years, problems could develop in this country and you might not get 10% of the vote. The outspoken journalist reaffirmed the often-repeated call for the dismissal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

She pleaded with the President to act sensibly and dismiss the Finance Minister for adamantly maintaining that Ghana would never request aid from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
