Ofori-Atta Narrates How He Founded Data Bank From His Single Room; Walked For Miles To School

Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has shared an emotional story of how hard life as a kid was for him.

Speaking at UPSA, he said he had a hard time growing up in Kyebi because he was born out of a wedlock.

According to him, he used to walk miles to the only government school in his village with cocoyam as the only meal in his pocket.

He noted that his life began to turn around when his father brought him to Accra and he had to chance to go to a top school due to his brilliance.

Finally, he said, he was able to found his now renowned Databank from the single room he lived in.

The Finance minister urged the youth to be creative entrepreneurs to reduce unemployment.
