Headmaster of Odorgonno Senior High School Samuel Mensah has refuted earlier claims that some returning students have contracted the novel coronavirus and are in isolation.
According to him, four of the students recorded high temperatures, however, checks from nurses indicated that they’re okay.
Speaking on Accra FM, the headmaster said “we took every students temperature when they returned. They’re more than 1,000 and out of this number if four record high temperature there’s nothing alarming about it.
“When the nurses recorded that, they gave them somewhere to rest and further investigations revealed they were just under stress because they came from very far places,” he said.
He said the school is following all Covid-19 safety protocols religiously.
