NPP’s Next Flagbearer Will Be From The North – Obiri Boahen

Nana Obiri Boahen, Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has predicted that the party’s next flagbearer will be someone from the Northern part of the country.

Speaking on Okay FM he said he’ll relinquish his position to campaign for that person to lead the NPP into the 2024 elections.

Although refusing to mention names with the excuse that permission has not been given to start campaigning yet, he said the person will be a Mamprusi decent.

The NPP flagbearership race is been keenly contested between Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and trade minister, Alan Kyeremanten.
