NPP Will Win 2020 Elections By 51.7% – University of Ghana Survey Reveals

According to a survey conducted by the Political Science department of the University of Ghana, the NPP will win the 2020 elections with a percentage of 51.7%.

The research, according to the University, was conducted in 100 constituencies purposively selected across all 16 regions with 11,949 respondents out of a targeted 12,000 in a random sampling manner.

According to the survey, 51.7% of respondents said they will vote for the incumbent President Akufo-Addo while 40.4% opted for the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama.

The research also reveals that the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) may be the third force in the upcoming elections as 1.3% of the respondents expressed their intention to vote for that party.
