Npp Primaries: Tension Mounts In Bantama As Some Delegates Accuse EC Official Of Allowing BNI Operatives To Vote

Tension is brewing in Bantama, one of the fiercely contested seats in the NPP’s parliamentary primaries after some delegates accused the EC official of allowing BNI operatives to vote.

The delegates claim that the said BNI operatives are said to be voting via proxy, meanwhile they as delegates are not aware of any proxy voting list.

On his part, the EC official denied the assertions, insisting that not even a single person has voted via proxy.

The Bantama parliamentary seat is being contested by Incumbent MP, Daniel Okyem Aboagye, and Francis Asenso Boakye, deputy chief of staff.
