NPP Primaries – Stephen Amoah Hopeful of Unseating Kennedy Kankam

The CEO of MASLOC, Mr. Stephen Amoah said he will unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament, (MP) for the Nhyiaeso Constituency, Hon. Kennedy Kankam in the upcoming New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Primaries to be held on the 20th of June, 2020.

Mr Amoah speaking on GHToday Extra revealed that information gathered in the Nhyiaeso Constituency suggest that, he will win the Primaries to represent the NPP in the Nhyiaeso Constituency.

“ The euphoria on the ground in the Constituency is an indication of the fact that on Saturday, victory will be mine. I’m going to unseat the incumbent MP”.

However, some of the constituents of Nhyiaeso are of the view that, the incumbent MP has done enough developmental projects in the Constituency therefore he deserves another chance to represent the NPP in the December, 2020 Elections.

Nhyiaeso Constituency in the Ashanti Region of Ghana is one of the strongholds of the NPP.
During the 2016 General Elections, Hon. Kennedy Kankam won the Parliamentary seat with 47,743 votes representing 82.19% of the total votes.
