Npp Primaries: Akim Oda Incumbent MP Loses Despite Offering A Fridge And GHS 5,000 Each Per Delegate

The Incumbent MP for Akim Oda, William Agyapong Quaitoo has been conclusively defeated by his closest contender, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, CEO Of The Community Hospitals group.

Mr. Agyapong Quaitoo, a former deputy minister of Agriculture, was said to have had a very hard time trying to convince delegates who appeared to have already taken their decision regarding his fate.

Even after offering a fridge and a whooping amount of GHS 5,000 each per delegate, Alexander Akwasi Acquah is repored to have won the election conclusively and significantly, leaving no room for contention.
