A former Deputy National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi Gibril have slammed members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to differentiate between a suspended tour and an abrogated one.
This comes after some members of the NPP including Abronye DC, and their General Secretary John Boadu insinuated that former president John Dramani Mahama cut short his campaign tours because the NDC lack funds.
In reaction on Connect FM‘s Omanbapa Show, Mr Gibril stated that the John Mahama cut short his tour to address the anomalies that has been associated with the voter roll exhibition.
According to him, the NPP do not understand the difference between suspension and abrogation because their interest only lies in reading pornographic newspapers.
“A lot of people have their names missing from the registration data, the short code 1422 for verification is inaccurate and a whole lot,” he said.
“Don’t they know the difference between suspension and cut? Their only interest is to read pornographic newspapers,” he added.
