The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has promised that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will achieve a first round presidential victory in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
In a fiery speech at the NPP’s 2020 Manifesto launch at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region, August 22, the President stated that Ghanaians are witnesses to the good work that his government has done and he believes they will turn out to give the NPP a first round resounding victory on December 7, 2020.
Nana Addo stated that the NPP has proven in our history to be a party that cares for every Ghanaian.
In a dig at the NDC and its flagbearer, President Akuffo-Addo accused John Mahama of having a “short memory.”
“I doubt if John Mahama didn’t have a short memory, he’d have come to us to seek another term,” Nana Addo said.
He added that Ghanaians may have “short memory” as Mr. Mahama said a few years ago, but not short enough to forget the mismanagement and woeful governance of the erstwhile Mahama administration.
