Outspoken Ghanaian actress, Lydia Actress has revealed that she has received countless threats from loyalists of the ruling government who are obviously not enthused about her relentless criticism of the government.
Lydia Forson has been one of the few Ghanaian celebrities who have been consistent with their criticism of government decisions and policies since power changed hands almost four years ago.
Yesterday, the actress took to social media to lament the decision by government to levy every traveller who uses the Kotoka Airport a sum of $150 to undergo a mandary PCR test before being allowed into the country.
According to the actress, it is not necessary to initiate such a move especially when all travellers are mandated to undertake such tests even before being allowed to board a flight. Lydia was of the opinion that such a decision would incur a completely avoidable double cost.
The actress also followed up her post by calling on Ghanaians to make the NPP uncomfortable just like they did to the erstwhile NDC government of John Mahama.
However, it appears the award-winning actress’ posts did not go down well with some apparatchiks of the ruling party who have taken to her inbox to issue threats and insults at her person.
