A Communicator for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kofi Asare Israel who received some 40 hot lashes in Jaman South for insulting the queen mother of Drobo has finally spoken publicly.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle Drive, Asare Israel noted that the inhumane treatment meted out on him will not go unpunished.
He vowed that nevertheless, the unfortunate incident won’t stop him from speaking for the NPP as party communicator.
Kofi Israel was reported to have rained insults on the queen mother without provocation; with sources disclosing that it was something that had become habitual of him.
An angry youth in the area who could not stand the insults went for him on a radio station where used to send out the insults and gave him the 40 hot lashes.
Nana Kwesi filing a report on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm stated that the young man was saved by the police.
