Now That E-Levy Has Been Approved, Make Sure You Solve All Ghana’s Problem – Asiedu Nketia To Akufo-Addo

The NDC’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has asked President Akufo Addo’s administration to guarantee that Ghana’s concerns are rectified now that the E-Levy has been passed into law.

Asiedu Nketia made this assertion following President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-State Addo’s of the Nation Address (SONA) on March 30 in an interview with TV3’s Roland Walker.

The incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, according to Asiedu Nketia, has continuously asserted that the E-levy is the solution for Ghana’s issues.

“Everything has been turned on its head.” We have a president who claims to believe in the rule of law yet encourages his people to disregard it.”

“I was not in Parliament yesterday, but I witnessed blatant disregard for all House protocols.” I don’t feel the necessary protocols were followed in the approval process, but there is a perception that an incorrect choice remains a decision until it is changed. We’ll go back to the drawing board to see if there’s any way we can keep fighting the E-levy.
