National Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi has hit back at critics for asking the NDC for its own Collated Results.
According to the young lawyer, in 2013 when then candidate Akufo-Addo filed a petition requesting for some 4 million votes to be annulled, he did not provide his own Collated Results.
Sammy Gyamfi therefore questions why suddenly the NDC is being asked to provide it’s own Collated Results.
His statement appears to be a direct response at one of the seven-member Supreme Court panel hearing the 2020 Election Petition.
It will be recalled that yesterday after Asiedu Nketiah’s rigorous Cross-examination from lead counsel for the 2nd respondent, one of the Judges sought to know if the NDC had done it’s own collation.
Sammy Gyamfi believes that such questions are not relevant to the reliefs they are seeking in court because they are not mandated by law to Collate results.
