Yayra Koku of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has hit hard at Chairman General Kwami Sefa Kayi following his appointment as a board member of the National Petroleum Authority.
The Host of Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ Morning show has always been linked to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) by some Ghanaians, particularly members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Some believe his appointment is a reward from President Akufo-Addo, however, it’ll be quite unfair to jump into conclusions as the Chairman General is not the first to enjoy appointment from a ruling government.
In a report by ghanaweb, the media personality was seen signing a document placed before him at the NPA head office in Accra on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the swearing-in ceremony.
Reacting to the news, Yayra wrote on Facebook, “when your mouth is full, you can’t talk much. Kwame Sefa Kayi you do All. New Board member of NPA.”
“No wonder you keep misbehaving at that station.”
