No Politician Is Clean When It Comes To Morality – Murtala Mohammed Cautions NPP

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Nanton Constituency, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed has fired a warning to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who have resorted to using the controversial ‘Papa No’ tag against some elements in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking on TV3’s New Day via Zoom, Murtala Mohammed noted that no politician can survive the morality test therefore members of the NPP should be extremely careful in threading that path.

“No politician can stand the morality test. If you want to talk about morality you must be very very careful,” he stated.

The ‘controversial ‘Papa No’ came about when actress Tracy Boakye claimed she snatched a man from musician, Mzbel and has been making lots of money from him.

It even gained more prominence when Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah called Hon. Abu Jinapor by it during a debate on the floor of Parliament.

This received fierce resistance from the Minority who demanded an apology or will also resort to name calling against Oppong Nkrumah.
