Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has charged Ghanaians to reject President Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in this year’s elections.
Addressing party supporters in the Keta Constituency of the Volta Region, on August 17, the former president noted that Ghanaians have endured enough hardships and unemployment under the Akufo Addo led government.
He pledged to focus more on job creation for the youth if given a chance to come back.
“No more four years of Nana Akufo-Addo, We’re sick and tired. Sick and tired of the corruption. Sick and tired of the family-and-friends [government].”
“Sick and tired of no infrastructure. “Sick and tired of high borrowing,” Mr Mahama said.
He added, “NDC is coming back to power and all the projects we started that have been abandoned, we’ll come and continue them and finish them. “But the most important thing is jobs for young people.
“NDC is coming back so that we can find jobs for you.
John Mahama is currently on a tour in the Volta region.
