No Campaign Directive: NPP National Leadership Orders Removal Of All ‘Campaign’ Billboards Ahead Of Delegates Conference

The National Leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party has reportedly ordered the removal of all unauthorized billboards by flagbearer aspirants ahead of the National Delegates Conference scheduled for Next week in kumasi.

Kumasi, the Ashanti Region capital has seen a proliferation of giant billboards in recent time as the delegates conference draws near.

Most of the billboards, as splashed all over social media are that of Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko and that of Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto.

The NPP, as a Party has insisted that until permission is granted for interested candidates to campain, no form of campaign will be tolerated.

According to the Party’s leadership, their focus remains solely on delivering on their 4-year mandate as renewed by Ghanaians in the 2020 election.

It is in this light that the Party has ordered all of such campaign billboards to be removed immediately.
