Nigerians Angry As Wizkid Is Spotted Playing Drums At A Funeral In Ghana While They Vote

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has been under fire from several Nigerians and Twitter users after they dug up an old tweet he sent during the EndSars.

Remember how the singer joined the conversation about EndSARS in2020, saying that they would demonstrate real power by electing the qualified and appropriate candidate to office.

He wrote: “Next election we show real power.”

However, a lot of Nigerians and users of social media had been anticipating hearing the musician make a political statement or take part in the ongoing presidential and national assembly elections, which were held on Saturday, February 25, but nothing about him was reported.

This outraged Nigerians, who hurled insults at Wizkid and dredged up an old tweet the singer had written.
