News Just In: President Akufo-Addo Elected As The New Chairman Of ECOWAS:

News coming in indicate that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been elected as the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States at the ongoing 57th ECOWAS Summit in Niamey, Niger.

The event which is being held at the Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Centre Niamey, will see the ECOWAS leaders considering reports form the 44^th Ordinary Session of the Mediation and Security Council at the Ministerial Level and the 84^th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers, which preceded the Summit, among others.
