NDC Will Lose 4 Seats After Dismissal Of Members Contesting As Independent Candidates – Ben Ephson

Pollster, Ben Ephson has predicted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is likely to lose four parliamentary seats following the party’s decision to dismiss 18 of its members who have filed to contest the 2020 polls as independent parliamentary candidates.

A statement signed by the NDC’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah on Tuesday, November 3, said the affected persons who “sought for and obtained nomination from the Electoral Commission …have forfeited their membership of the party”.

In light of this Ben Epson told Angel FM, “…the NDC will lose Garu Parliamentary seat in the Upper East Region, they will also lose [Krachi] Nchumuru Parliamentary seat in the Oti Region.”

He furthered, “In Upper West, the New Patriotic Party is going to win the Nadowli- Kaleo Parliamentary seat and in Damango, the seat won’t go in favour of the NDC.”
