NDC PC For Agona West Confirms Issuing Cheque To Alleged Contract Killers – Police Reveal

The 2020 National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Agona West, Paul Ofori-Amoah, has admitted to issuing out two bank cheques found on persons currently in police custody for allegedly plotting to kill Gender Minister, Cynthia Morrision.

Mr. Ofori-Amoah, according to Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Oppong, gave two Stanbic Bank cheques for Ghȼ5,000 each to the suspects prior to their arrest by the Swedru police at a hotel where they had lodged.

She, however, refused to mention the purpose for which the cheques were issued to the four suspects- Saddick Abubakar, Gordon Kunya, Isaac Addea and Dauda Fatau.

This is in sharp contrast to the opposition party’s parliamentary aspirant’s narration on the ‘Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ’ morning show on Angel 102.9 FM on Monday, October 19, that he could not recall giving out any cheques.
