NDC National Vice Chair Admits Ownership Of Pump Action Gun In Weapons Distribution Allegation

The National Vice-Chair of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Said Sinare has admitted to owning a pump-action gun in the weapons distribution allegation levelled against him by a member of his own party.

It will be recalled that this portal reported yesterday that the NDC constituency chairman for Ayawaso North, Tahiru Ahmed has fingered the National vice-chair of the NDC in connection with some gun supply for chaos in the December polls.

Alhaji Sinare, according to reports has consequently written to the National Chairman of the NDC, requesting for Tahiru Ahmed to be sanctioned on claims that he is working against the interest of the party.

The NDC vice-chair is reported to have admitted ownership of one of the guns at the centre of a weapons distribution allegation against him.

He has however told the police that the gun – a pump-action gun – was missing and he has already reported the case at the Cantonments Police Station in Accra.
