NDC MPs Move Motion to Investigate Agenda 111 Project
The Minority in Parliament have called for the establishment of a parliamentary committee to investigate the Agenda 111 project which was introduced by the government to build 111 hospitals across the country.
They want to know whether “the construction of hospital projects under agenda 111 complied with the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663) and the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
The also want to “investigate the circumstances leading to the award of the contracts under the Agenda 111 hospital projects from the presidency.”
The agenda 111 project has been touted by the government as the biggest investment in the country’s health sector.
It seeks to build 111 hospitals across the country.
