NDC ‘Machomen’ Allegedly Causing Chaos At Registration Centers In Cape Coast

William Abban Ghansah, the Cape Coast South constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has criticized the National Democratic Congress(NDC) executives of bringing ‘machomen’ to the registration centers to cause chaos and confusion.

He however advised members of the New Patriotic Party not to retaliate.

Mr William Abban Ghansah said, “this issue started last week from the very first day that the registration exercise begun. The NDC folks that we know in this town which I can boldly mention their names brought some machomen who are wearing NDC branded nose mask to each of the registration centers.

“When you’re a known NPP member and you come to register then they beat you and ask you to return home. This thing went on and I told the NDC chairman that we should follow the electoral rules. If you have problem with anybody pick a challenge form that was provided in the CI,” he further said.

“But they have sworn not to apply the laws and rather threatened to beat our members. It’s going on unabated because they’ve beaten our NPP members from Ekon, Presby, Shipum and they’re causing mayhem and disorder,” he added.
