A member of the Communications Team of the NDC, Stephen Atubiga has apologized to the Party after he was summoned by the Functional Executive Committee.
Mr Atubiga was summoned to explain why he should not be disciplined for comments deemed to have been made in Support of Eugene Arhin.
His summons letter indicated that the said comments was against the principles of the NDC.
However, in a post on Facebook explaining his words even before facing the FEC, Atubiga apologized to the Party explaining that his words had been twisted by mischievous media houses.
He emphasized that the Party was bigger than any individual including himself and therefore wanted to apologise for putting the Party in a bad light.
It is unclear if his summons will be terminated now that he has apologized.
