The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will on Sunday hold a vigil in memory of their late founder, Jerry John Rawlings.
The party held an urgent meeting last Friday chaired by its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama to decide the way forward after the ex president’s death.
“At a meeting of the Political Committee of the party on Friday morning, we reaffirmed the party’s commitment to celebrating the life of our dear Founder,” a press release signed by General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia said.
It added, “A vigil will be held in Accra at the Obra Spot on Sunday, from 5:00 pm till midnight.”
