Veteran journalist, and editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has dropped a hint that the NDC who opted out of Peace FM’s flagship ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show, citing alleged bias by the host, Kwame Sefa Kayi, is now begging to return.
The main opposition party, NDC, had announced a boycott of the station’s popular morning programme Kokrokoo hosted by celebrated broadcast journalist Kwami Sefa Kayi after the party complained about the conduct of its former Central regional chairman Bernard Allotey Jacobs on the show.
The NDC also accused the show host of being bias towards the party.
However, ostensibly regretting over the knee-jerk action the NDC is lobbying to take its slot on the popular show.
Regular Wednesday panelist and editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako dropped the hint at the close of today’s show.
Baako said he had picked up information that the NDC wants to come back through the back door by asking the station to write to the party as if Peace Fm needed the presenc of the main opposition party, a move the station was not ready to acquiesce.
“A bird has whispered into my ears that our friends want to comeback”, Baako dropped the hint.
The host of the show, Kwame Sefa Kayi did not confirm or deny Kweku Baako’s assertions, except to laugh.
