NDC Are Better Managers Of Ghana Black Stars Than My Own NPP – Obiri Boahen Eats Humble Pie

Nana Obiri Boahen, deputy general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has bemoaned the state of Ghana’s senior national team under the party.

In an interview he said the NPP’s decision not to interfere in the work of the Ghana Football Association by appointing its members unto decision making boards has affected the fortunes of the Black Stars.

According to him when the NDC were in power they appointed their own people who were knowledgeable in sports to be part of the GFA.

For this reason decisions are never left alone in the hands of persons outside politics who only decide on what favours them.

He conceded that politics has affected everything in the country and if the NPP refuses to appoint its men to the GFA they’ll be blamed for the poor performance of the Black Stars.
