NDC Accepts Atubiga’s Resignation But…

The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accepted the resignation of suspended member, Stephen Atubiga.

In a meeting on Tuesday May 25, the FEC said the acceptance of the resignation is not in anyway an admission of the “spurious” allegations made against the party.

“Rather we hold the view that your decision to resign has denied us the opportunity to educate you on many of the matters cited as the basis of your resignation.

“We wish you well in your future endeavours.”

Mr Atubiga has been on a rampage after breaking away from the party.

In an interview, he said he had to withhold publishing his book because the NDC will be greatly damaged if he publishes it.
