NABCO Ends Today With Over 67,000 Graduates Coming Home

The Nation Builders Corps (NaBCo) programme which is a government initiative that sought to address graduate unemployment in order to solve social problems has come to an end with over 67,000 graduates coming home.

The focus of the initiative was on solving public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection and these were the modules created.

The Nation Builders Corps (NaBCo) programme which is initially thought of as permanent by citizens has ended today, September 1, 2022.

According to the budget statement read by the Finance Minister, the NaBCo initiative was initially supposed to run for three years and then was extended for an additional year.

In the same vein, the 2021/2022 National service year ends today as their compulsory September leave begins on 1st September, 2022 with over 100,000 graduates going home.

In addition, the Youth in Community Protection Assistants Programme also ends today with the over 12,000 beneficiaries equally coming home.
