My Own Party People Have Deliberately Frustrated Me Because I Married Afia Akoto – NDC’s Deputy Organizer

The deputy National Organizer of the NDC, Chief Biney has defended his decision to marry a staunch member of the NPP, Afia Akoto.

Many NDC folks have attributed their defeat in the 2020 polls to a number of factors including a claim that their deputy organizer had been rendered ineffective because of his marriage to a staunch member of the NPP.

This claim has been made by Stephen Atubiga in the past, as well as US-based Journalist, Kevin Ekow Taylor, with Anita Desoso also making similar claims in the past week.

However, Chief Biney, in an interview on Asempa FM said that those claims are nothing but nonsense.

According to him, he worked very hard for the Party in the run-up to the election, even though unfortunately things did not go their way.

Chief Biney also lamented that due to his marriage, his own party folks have deliberately frustrated him in a bid to isolate him.

He also said that he will choose his wife over the NDC any day if necessary.
