My Driver Always Wore A Mask Around Me But He Still Contracted The Virus – Ken Agyapong Disagrees With Government’s Decision On ‘Trotros’

Outspoken politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has expressed his disagreement with the Government’s decision to allow public transport vehicles to operate at full capacity.

It will be recalled that President Akufo-Addo in his address to Ghanaians last night announced the decision to allow trotros and other public transport to operate at full capacity, while passengers wore masks.

However, reacting to the issue on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen program, Ken Agyapong disagreed with the position of government saying that the face masks alone cannot prevent infection when there is no social distancing.

The Maverick lawmaker revealed that his own driver who used to receive signed cheques from him to transact business on his behalf while he was still in quarantine, contracted the virus despite always wearing a mask around him.

The controversial MP advised Ghanaians to strictly observe the laid down protocols since the virus is real and deadly.
