My Colleagues Only Campaigned To Get Money And Cars, Not To Make Ghana Better – Kumawood Actor

Kumawood actor, Sean Paul, has accused his colleagues in the industry of joining political parties out of their own selfish desires and not for the interest of the country.

Over the past five years, Kumawood actors, Agya Koo, Tracey Boakye, Matilda Asare, Michael Afrane, Mr. Beautiful, Sylvester Agyapong, Salinko and others have declared their support for political parties and campaigned vigorously during national elections.

In an interview with Ambassador TV, Sean Paul indicated that most local movie stars who endorse political parties only do so for their personal gain and not because they have the interest of the ordinary citizens at heart.

“Those celebrities are hungry, and the way they can get money is to endorse political parties to feed their empty stomachs. They endorse politicians for money and cars, but they don’t think about the development of Ghana and how the politicians can perform to develop Ghana for the benefit of all,” he said

He advised entertainers to maintain their credibility and not sell themselves to politicians.
