Mike Ocquaye Should Use His Remaining Days To Tell Ananse Stories To His Grandchildren – Asiedu Nketiah Throws Another Bomb

Controversial General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has fired former Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye, who he describes as an old man trying to cling to power.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, famed for making controversial statements, he cautioned the former Speaker of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic to concentrate his energies on telling Ananse Stories to his grandchildren.

Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye missed out on the opportunity to become the Speaker of the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic after the NDC’s sponsored candidate, Alban Bagbin won the election on the morning of 7th January.

Speaking at a Press Conference organized by the NDC yesterday, Asiedu Nketiah said, “The NPP’s demand for a rerun of the elections and the counter demand for the declaration of Honourable Bagbin as the winner led to another two hours of stalemate before eventually, evil had to succumb to the forces of democracy.

Some of us insisted that Mike Oquaye has lost the elections and let the whole world know that he has lost the elections because he was warned.

In fact, I did warn him that he was too old to be a Speaker and I advised him that this was the time for him to dedicate the rest of his life telling ananse stories to his grandchildren.”
