Martin Amidu And I Are Northern Brothers; I Have No Issues With Him – Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has insisted that he has no personal issues with Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu.

Mahama and Amidu have been in the news recently after exchanges on the Airbus scandal.

Amidu in his Agyapa risk assessment report named Mahama as the Government Official 1 in the Airbus scandal.

Mahama in reply questioned why he’ll name him in the Agyapa report when the Airbus has nothing to do with the Agyapa. ….“but because he is a coward and they knew Agyapa was going to be discussed today, he put a paragraph on Airbus to equalize the discussion. What stupidity is this?” Mahama said.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM, Mahama stressed that he hold no personal grudges with Amidu who worked as senior member of the NDC.

He noted that they both come from the Northern part of Ghana and therefore he cannot have any bad blood for him.
