A member of the campaign team for former President John Dramani Mahama, Kobby Mensah has insisted that the party’s demised founder, Jerry John Rawlings had a solid relation with the flagbearer.
According to him, contrary to claims that Mahama and Rawlings had a strained relationship, the two were in good terms with Mahama always heeding to the advice of Rawlings.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show, he noted that John Mahama remained Rawlings’ beloved son till his demise.
“The communication between former President Mahama and the late President Rawlings was solid. John Mahama and Rawlings had a solid relationship and John Mahama was his most beloved son in the party who followed every advice of Rawlings. So, whoever says that we never had a good relationship with Rawlings is not true,” he was quoted by Peacefm online.
