A former Chairman of the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC), Dr. Steve Manteaw, has stated that President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and his NPP administration have been a woeful failure in their first term in office.
Dr. Mantew, who is also the Campaigns Coordinator at the Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC), pointed out corruption as one of the major area the current government has disappointed Ghanaians.
He however noted that, former president and current flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama is not the alternative to the failed Akuffo-Addo administration.
“My greatest disappointment with the current government is its presence at fighting corruption. The resolve is simply absent. Akufo Addo has failed in many respects but Mahama can’t be the alternative. This is the dilemma of the swing voter,” Dr. Manteaw noted in a Facebook post.
