Mahama Finally Breaks His Silence On The “Papa No” Brouhaha – Watch

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama may have surprisingly accepted that he is the mystery “Papa No” that all Ghanaians have been searching for.

The “Papa No” term have been reigning on social media for some time now after it became popular owing to the shameful public spat that occurred between Kumawood actress/producer Tracy Boakye and MzBel.

With many speculations going on as to who this “Papa No” (certain man) is, Mr. Mahama may have settled the matter.

The former president, addressing the Chiefs and people of Asukawkaw during a visit, likened himself and NDC parliamentary candidates to a ‘father and son’ while encouraging the electorate to not engage in skirt and blouse voting.

Speaking in the local Asante Twi dialect, Mr. Mahama said: “woto ma papa no a, ewo se wo to ma oba no”. To wit, ‘if you vote for the man, vote for his child as well’.

The statement should have been a usual plea from a politician seeking for votes but the recent controversy surrounding the “Papa No” term is what appears to be tickling the minds of a section of the populace. Is Mahama really the “Papa No”?
