Chief of Nzema Akropong, Nana Adu Kwaw, has hailed former president John Dramani Mahama as one whose praise cannot be resisted.
Speaking during a visit of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer to Nkroful in the Ellembelle constituency on Wednesday as part of a campaign tour in the Western Region, Nana Kwaw noted that John Mahama during his time as President initiated lots of development in his area.
According to him, Mahama constructed the Agona-Nkwanta-Elubo-Half Assini road, brought the free fertilizer programme which benefitted farmers immensely, creating decent jobs for the youth through the establishment of the Ghana Gas Company, and some others.
He stated, “every chief stands for the development and why should I not praise a politician if he should help bring development in my area? That is why I can’t resist the temptation of praising Mahama for what he did for the Nzema area.”
