Mahama Gave Ghanaians Stable Power Before Leaving Office – Victor Smith

Ghana’s former Ambassador to the United Kingdom (UK), Victor Smith has insisted former president John Mahama fixed the power crisis before exiting, cautioning the New Patriotic Party to stop the lies.

Speaking on Power FM, Mr Smith stated the Akufo Addo led government is a violent government that has nothing to offer Ghanaians.

“The NPP has nothing meaningful to show Ghanaians except violence,” he said.

He further slammed the government for failing to add a single megawatt of power to the energy generation yet criticise Mahama for the power crisis.

Although admitting the power crisis under the Mahama government affected Ghanaians, Mr Smith insisted Mahama acted swiftly to bring it under control.

“You say we brought dumsor [intermittent power supply] yet you haven’t added a megawatt of power to our energy generation…….stop the lies against John Mahama whose vision brought about the stable power Ghanaians are enjoying” under the Akufo-Addo government.
