Mahama And Adongo Did Not Say Anything Wrong; Akufo-Addo’s Government Is A Sakawa Gov’t – Asiedu Nketia Insists

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has supported comments initially made by Bolga Central MP, Isaac Adongo and shared by NDC flagbearer John Mahama, which referred to elements in the NPP as ‘Akyem Sakawa Boys’.

Even though the NDC flagbearer has come under a lot of attack for endorsing and gleefully sharing the write-up, which many believe is beneath a man of his stature, the NDC chief scribe believes otherwise.

According to Mr Asiedu Nketia, those who took part in the infamous Agyapa deal are Akyems, therefore it is not wrong to refer to them as ‘Akyem Sakawa Boys’ if the deal is a scam.

Mr. Nketia however, clarified that this was in no way a general reference to all the Akyem tribe, but a reference to those Akyem guys who took part in the “fraudulent” Agyapa deal.
