According to Marca journalist Ramon Alvarez, Kylian Mbappe signed a contract agreement to join Real Madrid on January 30th.
On January 30, a few members of the La Liga club’s board met with the PSG star’s lawyers to finalize the signing agreement.
Real did not want Mbappe to sign any contract with PSG and were able to persuade him to sign a pre-contract agreement with them once he was legally entitled to do so.
Some complications involving the Frenchman’s image rights are preventing the contract from being completely confirmed.
But, by the next week, everything should be in order, and he will be referred to as a “Real Madrid player.”
Los Blancos must now decide whether to announce Mbappe’s signing during the season or during the summer.
