Kufour Tells #Fixthecountry Protesters To Stop Acting As If Ghana Was Better And Someone Came To Destroy It

Former President John Agyekum Kufour has admonished the fix the country campaigners to stop behaving as if Ghana was in good condition and someone came to destroy it.

Speaking on Kofi TV, Kufour noted that the country continuous to suffer from some hasty decisions made by past leaders and also a growing population that outmatches the country’s resources.

According to him, no government possesses the magic wand to suddenly transform the economy and therefore the #fixthecountry campaigners must revise their campaign.

“When did we finish fixing the nation that all of a sudden we are acting as through it was once fixed and someone destroy it? We are still building it. Ghanaians are a lot. When we had independence in 1957, we were only 6 million.

“As I speak now, I believe we are almost 40 million. When we add all those that have travelled. We are only 64 years. The land on which we live hasn’t expanded. Our natural resources haven’t multiplied,” he told Kofi Adomah.
