Kofi Kyei Asante Set To Lead The GBA’s Young Lawyers Forum As VEEP

Kofi Kyei Asante, a seasoned lawyer with international experience, has announced his candidacy for Vice President of the Ghana Bar Association’s (GBA) Young Lawyers Forum. As a dedicated public servant, Kofi currently practices law at Ghana National Gas Company Ltd.

Kofi’s impressive background includes earning his LLB from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2016, where he served on the Law Students’ Union’s Welfare and Organizing Committee. He also worked with the Ghana Ambassador to China and contributed to the successful Urban Sankofa Project, facilitating African-American settlement in Ghana.

A member of the Nigerian Bar since 2021, Kofi assisted Ghanaian students in acquiring residency permits in Nigeria. As Class Representative at the Ghana School of Law Post-Call Class, he helped procure free textbooks, organized tutorials, and social events, leading to a 77% pass rate.

Kofi’s leadership skills, dynamism, and camaraderie are highly regarded. His promise to support the Young Lawyers Forum President in initiating people-centered policies aims to empower young lawyers’ career growth and development, encapsulated in his mantra “The Young shall Glow!”

With his diverse experience and dedication, Kofi Kyei Asante is poised to lead the GBA’s Young Lawyers Forum as Vice President.
