Kennedy Agyapong Lands In Court Again After Allegations Against NDC MP

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has been summoned by an Accra High Court over assassination claims against former deputy Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson.

This is after the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam MP, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson reported the controversial Mr. Agyapong to the court over some allegations.

Mr. Agyapong had alleged that the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Finance Committee had a hand in the botched assassination attempt on the Gender Minister, Cynthia Morrison.

Police had upon intelligence arrested two suspects who Mr. Agyapong claimed were working on instructions of Mr. Ato Forson.

Kennedy Agyapong is expected to appear before the High Court in eight days according to the writ signed on October 27.

This becomes the second time the outspoken lawmaker has been dragged to court in recent days as he’s still facing contempt charges at the Supreme Court after he was allegedly caught live television using unprintable words against a High Court judge.
