Police prosecution have confirmed the real age of one of the suspects allegedly involved in the ritual killing of an 11-year old boy at Kasoa.

Felix Nyarko and Nicholas Kiki have had their ages under contention in court; a situation which leaves the court in dilemma over the extent of punishment to give them if found guilty, considering the fact that they could be juveniles.

According to Ghana Guardian, Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Ernest Agbo told the court that they have been able to know the age of one of the accused persons, Felix Nyarko who is a juvenile as records at his former school shows he was born on 1st September, 2005 making him 15 years.

The police further noted that they’ve been unable to get records at the hospital the suspect was born, however, they are convinced with the school records.

The case has been adjourned to May 16th 2021 while the accused persons are still in remand.
