Just In: Nana Addo Accepts Amidu’s Resignation, Promises To Pay Salary Arrears
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has accepted the resignation of the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu.
In a statement issued by the Chief of Staff, it was noted that the government will also respond to other matters raised in Mr. Amidu’s resignation letter to the President.
“The President has directed me to ensure that all emoluments and benefits due you under law are paid to you accordingly”, the statement read.
The President thanked Mr. Amidu for his service to the State and wished him well in future endeavors.
